Tasks Completed
Live debug session for APEX networking
Had a 2 hr live debug session with JamO, Sam, Tim, and Mo to troubleshoot APEX vlan routing issues in the new APEX job. We weren't able to ultimately solve the issue. Mo was able to reproduce the issue using a minimum set of servers without APEX though so we confirmed at least it seems to be affecting the cloud.
Report Issue button in RTD should open a new tab/window
https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/browse/RELENG-1229
Rich pointed out that it would be better UX to have the report issue button on our RTD ribbon to open a new tab/window.
Migrate stack-delete script to lftools
https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/browse/RELENG-236
We actually migrated this script already via RELENG-235 when we implemented the create. It was necessary for our retry system. I changed this Jira however to be about adding the macro to global-jjb so that I can be used in the post-build section to clean up the stack at the end of the job.
Tasks in progress
Migrate ODL's CLM system to shared Nexus IQ system
https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/browse/RELENG-1224
This turned into a releng task so I took it on. The new system is ready to go however namespacing issues with ONAP is preventing us from moving forward. We need to update the clm jobs to care about namespaces and then have a flag day to rename all the existing App IDs in the shared system to utilize the namespace.
Use clouds.yaml for packer builds
https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/browse/RELENG-1205
No progress this week.
Build OpenEXR on Windows
https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/browse/RELENG-999
Successfully built OpenEXR's IlmBase proving that our Windows builder works. Need to add support for Windows for our post build publishers though to collect logs. This is being tracked via RELENG-1228.
Allow projects to promote their own staging repository
https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/browse/RELENG-425
No progress this week.
Had a 2 hr live debug session with JamO, Sam, Tim, and Mo to troubleshoot APEX vlan routing issues in the new APEX job. We weren't able to ultimately solve the issue. Mo took an action to test creating a minimum test in Vex to see if it's reproducible outside of APEX.
