We need to port work from ODL's multi-node testing into ONAP. In particular they want to do some Kubernetes based testing in a multi-node configuration.
We already have the HEAT stack create and destroy macros defined, what we need are some well defined jobs can take a HEAT template that is created from the following specs:
- 3 x VM 4 cores / 6 Go Ram / 10 Go Disk
- 12 x VM 16 cores / 16 Go Ram / 10G Disk
- 12 x Volume 60Go HDD
- 3 x Volume 1G HDD
- 3 x Volume 5G HDD
- 3 x Volume 1G SSD
- 1 x Volume 100G SSD
It will then need to configure these resources to be plugged together in some fashion and then a kubernetes pod built on top of it. Vexxhost has produced a python app that will take a series of nodes and stand up a fully certified kubernetes pod on them see (https://opendev.org/vexxhost/kue) last I spoke with Mohammed no official release has happened so it's a clone an run operation right now.
How all these pieces need to go together is a question we can get answered by mrichomme after we have the initial job standing up the HEAT stack and performing the pod creation.
