My Project Is Not Listed
It's fairly easy to become a top contributor in an open source project. Especially for a newbie who does not yet have very many priorities and tasks under their belt. Might be interesting to publish a write up with tips on how to figure out what to work on and gain experience and trust with a new community and becoming a committer on a project.
Some ideas:
- Easy tasks to work on
- Code style
- Fixing code issues from static analysis reports
- What types of tasks to automate for big impact
- Release Workflows
- Reviewing Code Consistently
- Taking on more difficult tasks
- Getting buying from the community first
