After due diligence on using the LF solution for their needs, it has been decided that our solution is not currently ready to provide the metrics that EdgeX is looking for. We will therefore implement the TIG solution provided by Intel.

Below is a description of the requirements. Attached are reference files for the docker-compose stack and a proposed CloudFormation stack.

CF provisions 2 ec2 instances in a VPC split across two AZs with public and private subnets. One instance is in public subnet (Bastion), the other is in private subnet (Grafana dashboard) which is behind a load balancer.
That instance is a member of an ASG.
The reference architecture shows a T2 Medium with 100 GB of extra disk local to it for Grafana, and the bastion is a T2 nano.
The installation dependencies are Docker and Docker Compose.
