Our internally developed lftools has a number of pinned dependencies that are now causing warnings/errors in the job output. Also, the build system used could be updated to use "pdm" and potentially we could/should implement improved GitHub actions workflows to catch problems more quickly. I am raising this ticket to track the effort involved.
